Senior Java/Kotlin Developer work on critical national systems

On behalf of our client we are hiring Java developers to join a leading technology consultancy where you get to deliver solutions used by millions of people and critical national infrastructure.

About the Role

As a consultant you will work closely with customers across a wide range of industries, helping design, build, and improve modern digital solutions. The consultants are trusted advisors who contribute not only with technical expertise but also with ideas that improve products, services, and user experiences.

You will work on projects where technology directly impacts society, e.g. where systems delivers real-time data and operational updates to companies across Norway.



We are looking for developers who enjoy working across the stack and contributing to modern, scalable systems and

Required experience

* Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a Developer, Architect, or Tech Lead
* Strong experience with Java / Kotlin development
* Experience with frontend, backend, or full-stack development
* Knowledge of databases, cloud platforms, and agile development methodologies
* Minimum of Bachelor Degree in relevant field
* B2 Norwegian level, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

* Experience using AI
* Interest or experience with Design Patterns
* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerisation technologies
* Ability to see the big picture in complex systems and communicate solutions to both colleagues and clients
* Ability to obtain security clearance (for some projects)
